The Unova Region
As with every new generation of Pokemon, there is a new region for Pokemon Black and White. The name for this new region is Unova. Unova has many bridges that allow passage over the region's two rivers. At some point throughout the game the bridges will be raised and lowered, most likely hindering or allowing the player to travel to new areas depending on what point they are at in the story.
At the very south end of Unova is a very industrial city. This is sure to be the Celadon City of Unova, with a multi-level department store and apartment buildings. At the south end of the city is a docking bay for ships. North of the industrial city is a desert. There is always a sandstorm brewing here. Above the desert is an amusement park. There is a ferris wheel and other Pokemon-themed rides. Above the amusement park is what appears to be a park like Johto's National Park. It has a Pokeball in the middle and a ring of water surrounding it.
On both the east and west end of the map there are identical looking mountains that appear to be covered in snow and ice. Overall, Unova seems to have more trees than any Pokemon region before it. Many routes seem to go through a forest.
